Malaysia: Delegation Visit to Oil Companies & Contractors
INTSOK is arranging a four-day delegation visit to oil companies, engineering contractors and service companies in Malaysia 26 - 29 March 2012.
In December 2011 PETRONAS reported 35 undeveloped deepwater discoveries and has therefore reinforced their ambition to make Malaysia the regional deepwater centre. In response to this,the focus will be on FPU/SURF technology.

Location: Kuala Lumpur Period: March 26-29, 2012 Program responsible: Per Hagen +47 917 08 129 Event organizer: Therese Nęss Marthinsen +47 93020031 During the visit, participants will meet PETRONAS and other “independent” oil companies with recent deepwater discoveries like Hess, Talisman, Newfiled and Murphy. We are also planning to meet service companies like Petrofac and Kencana. At Technip and WorleyParsons, participants will receive information about their portfolio and projects.
A minor participation fee of 5.000 NOK/person will be charged, essentially to cover expenses for local (buss) transportation, lunches and dinners.
