Record turnout for this year's IOGBD
http://www.intsok.no/style//uploads/img/FrontPage/IOGBD2010.jpg In keeping with tradition, this year's International Oil and Gas Business Day was held in Stavanger as part of the tailor-made ONS 2010 VIP delegation programme.
More than 30 INTSOK partners held a mini exhibition for the more that the 350 attendees present. From the podium, presentations were given by key high-level VIPs from: Petrobras, CNOOC, KazMunaiGaz, Pertamina, PETRONAS, Aramco Overseas, in addition to speakers from the service sector in India. The invited speakers presented an update of activities and business opportunities in their respective countries. The seminar was rounded off with a key-note speech by Terje Riis-Johansen, Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy.
Presentations will be made available online shortly, all participants will receive an email with more information on how to access them.

Solutions for Cleaner Production catalogue launched
http://www.intsok.no/style//uploads/img/FrontPage/SolutionsForCleanTech.jpgAs part of our capability mapping and technology monitoring, INTSOK has the pleasure to release its latest capabilty catalogue: Solutions for Cleaner Production which was introduced by Norwegian Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Terje Riis-Johansen, at INTSOK's 9th International Oil and Gas Business Day.  The catalogue highlights INTSOK partner companies that deliver solutions, technologies and services that contribute to cleaner production and reduce the impact of oil and gas production on the environment, and will hopefully improve technology awareness as well as add knowledge to technology achievements by mapping the capabilities of companies and R&D institutions with environmental technologies and solutions introduced on the NCS and in international markets.

Mark your calendar for a delegation visit to Indonesia/Singapore
/IndonesiaNetworkMeeting.png A few offshore gas field developments are now maturing into the FEED stage in Indonesia.It is expected that a lot of the work will be executed in Indonesia (incl. Batam) as well as in Singapore.
Our delegation visit is scheduled early October, and is timed in particular for Chevron's Gehem-Gendalo project. The tentative programme includes network meetings, visits to Keppel FELS and SembCorp Marine, meetings with majors operators and local fabricators. An indication of your participation is requested by August 30, 2010.

The visit is subject to sufficient participation- minimum ten and limited to 15 companies.
