Aberdeen Client Week

Aberdeen has for long been the main hub for the Maintenance, Modifications and Operations on the UKCS, and therefore INTSOK has always tried to profile technologies and capabilities relating to Field Rejuvenation, Asset Integrity, Increased Oil Recovery etc in connection with our yearly delegations to Aberdeen. Activity is still peaking on UKCS with regard to the development of smaller reservoirs through tie-back to existing infrastructure, but also some major stand-alone developments are under maturing according to a recent update of our UKCS
market report prepared by Britboss.

Based on the overwhelming interest for participating in our previous delegations to Aberdeen, we have decided to organize another delegation April 13-15, 2010. We have solicited with potential clients in Aberdeen their interest for various themes and the general feed-back has been "The topics - reducing energy consumption and discharges/emissions - are indeed continually of interest to us. "
This spring the focus will be on :

Technologies for Greener Production: Capabilities in the Norwegian oil and gas
industry for reduced energy consumption and minimizing discharge to sea and
emissions to air

which coincides with our recent initiative on to mapping our partners’ technologies and capabilities within environmental issues, and to show-case their capabilities in a catalogue similar to the IOR catalogue that we produced last year.
Meetings are now scheduled with 6 operating companies over a three day period as shown in the preliminary program.
Are you interested in joining? Then drop a line to Einar Holmefjord, Regional Director.
