IllustrationThe term “Improved Oil recovery” (IOR) is used by INTSOK for all measures which can increase or accelerate the oil recovery of a field. There is emphasis on measures based on information gathered during production, and on measures based on advanced technology. INTSOK partners supply equipment and services within all major technical disciplines related to IOR, as presented in the matrix below. Please look up your favourite technology and find more information about potential suppliers.

The Pre-salt oil and gas opportunities in Brazil
IllustrationOn November 12th BNCC, in co-operation with INTSOK, organized a seminar on the background for and possible consequences of, the proposed legislation on the future development of the pre-salt oil discoveries off the coast of Brazil. Guest speaker Luiz Antonio Lemos from the legal firm Tozzini Freire Advogados in Rio gave a presentation on the subject, published here: http://www.intsok.no/index.php?id=3386 Special Advisor Willy Olsen from INTSOK drew comparisons between the proposed Brazilian regime and the situation in other oil producing countries. The seminar was attended by over 60 people from the Norwegian oil- and gas industry, both service suppliers and investors.
