  • DEEPWATER CONFERENCE 2013

    INTSOK will host a Deep Water Conference in Perth, Australia on Thursday November 14, 2013. The day will be split in two, with a focus on SURF (Subsea Umbilical Risers and Flowlines) in the morning and Floating Production in the afternoon. 
     
    The Conference will be concluded with an evening cocktail reception with clients and contractors for an opportunity to network in a relaxed setting (venue tba).

  • Are you interested in partnership with a Ghanaian company?

    The TEN project in Ghana has recently been approved and is under development by Tullow as operator with an estimated investment of 4.5 billion USD + a leased FPSO.

    The Norwegian research institution SINTEF, in cooperation with their partner STEPRI in Ghana, have implemented a Business Development and Capacity Building project with 10 Ghanaian companies preparing them to be qualified as suppliers to the Oil and Gas Industry. The Norwegian Government through NORAD has been the sponsor of the project. Company information about four of these companies is presented here

  • Updated report: How to Do Business in Brazil

    INTSOK is very  pleased to present the updated Report on How to do Business in Brazil with Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the oil and gas and offshore maritime sector as the main target. The report provides practical guidelines and understanding on how to do business in Brazil.
     
    The report is presented as a cooperation project between the Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro, Innovation Norway and INTSOK.

  • New Study: How to succeed in the US Marketplace!

    INTSOK has now completed a study together with the Houston based Pierpont Communications Inc. Pierpont has interviewed 50 INTSOK Partners, who has set up their business in Houston during the last 10 – 12 years.
     
    The study shows a very large market, fierce competition and the importance of being present “24/7”. Technology is interesting, but does not sell itself. US is a market place where the value to the customer sells - when the technology has been proven – by others.

  • Kick-Off Meeting: Korea Business Development Accelerator 2013

    INTSOK and Innovation Norway are planning a kick off meeting on June 24 for a Korea Business Development Accelerator program which will commence autumn 2013.

    The objective of the program is to prepare individual entry plans that significantly strengthen the Korean business position of the companies. The deliverable of the program is a ten page decision-making document describing the sales proposition to the yards, the market size of the product/service, the competition, local presence model and a budget and management plan for follow up. Three workshops are planned in Norway and one in Korea.
