His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon and the Norwegian Minister of Foreign affairs Mr. Jonas Gahr Støre will open Kazakhstan - Norway Energy Seminar in Astana on February 5, 2010.
The seminar is organized by INTSOK, in cooperation with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and will be held in conjunction with the official opening of the Royal Norwegian Embassy for Central Asia in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Norway's Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Dag Malmer Halvorsen is extending an official invitation to this Norway - Kazakhstan Day highlighting the importance of such an initiative towards developing positive interatcion between both countries within the energy sector:

Destination Tromsø: Russian-Norwegian Oil & Gas Conference
Tromsø is alive throughout January with a multitude of exiting events including Tromsø International Film Festival and the Arctic Frontiers Conference aside. None the less, all the excitement will take place at INTSOK's 8th annual Russian-Norwegian Oil & Gas Conference!
So far, we have some 240 registered attendees - including a group of Russian, Norwegian and international journalists. The Conference features presentations from Gazprom, Eni and a panel debate with INTSOK partners established in Russia.

New Oil and Gas Advisor in Brazil
INTSOK has the pleasure to welcome Vitor Azevedo Júnior as its Oil and Gas Advisor in Rio de Janeiro.
Vitor Azevedo Júnior started his 22 year long career in Petrobras back in 1984 as an Equipment Design Engineer. His experience from Petrobras comes from various posts over that period which include positions as Maintenance Manager, Rig Manager, Operations Manager for Carapeba Oil Field, and most recently Head of Production Engineering and Operational Excellence in E&P, Espírito Santo
