  • Proceedings from Rogaland 2010 Regional Meeting now online

    INTSOK invited its partners and business relations to a Regional Meeting in Stavanger on Tuesday 2 March 2010 at Måltidets Hus, Ullandhaug.
    The meeting focused on updates on some of the most prospective markets. Moreover, attendees had the possiblity to meet INTSOK's Oil & Gas Advisors from Brazil, Australia and China.

  • Record increase in new INTSOK partners

    Since the begining of 2010, INTSOK has welcomed close to 20 new partners making the number of INTSOK partner companies to well over 205.

  • UKCS Field Development projects updated

    The recent Oil and Gas UK report reveals that the number of offshore oil and gas projects currently under consideration for development has risen sharply over the last 12 months, pointing to the still substantial potential of this mature province.  However, the report shows that reserves being developed or in production have declined, as possible new projects fail to meet companies’ economic criteria. This highlights continuing concern about the UK’s ability to attract the necessary investments to maximise the recovery of its oil and gas resources.

  • INTSOK present at Offshore Strategy Conference 2010

    Gulbrand  Wangen,  Managing Director,  addressed a crowd from 200 companies, during the 16th  Strategy Conference  in Stavanger, entitled: "INTSOK, the way forward," giving a brief insight into INTSOK's history and background, current status and future visions.

  • Crown Prince Haakon opened Kazakhstan - Norway Energy Seminar

    The Crown Prince, together with Mr. Jonas Gahr Støre, Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, opened the business seminar arranged by INTSOK in Astana on February 5, 2010.
    Around 190 people attended the seminar whose main objective was to strengthen the cooperation in the petroleum and energy sectors between Kazakhstan and Norway.
